Halq-e-Arbab-e-Zauq North America:
May 2010 mushaira
WASHINGTON: The Halqa-e-Arbab-e-Zauq Shumaalee Amreeka held its annual mushaira
on May 1 at a local hotel in Dumfries, Virginia. The program was presided over by Dr. Muazzam Siddiqui and conducted by
Ms.
Kahkahashn Kifayat.
President of the Halqa, Mr. Kifayat Rehmani, senior journalist Akmal Aleemi, and
several community members were present on this occasion.
The poets and poetesses who presented their poetry included Ijaz Hussain Bhatty,
Zafar Syed, Khurrum Yousafzai, Shafiq Khalish, Nasim Farogh, Sadiq Bajwa, Yousaf
Rahat, Qaanay Ada, Shahida Nasim, Zaheer Tashie, Abul Rehman Siddiqi, and Shakil
